Nesbitt & Parrinello Assesses Election Threats In Virginia

In collaboration with a major election protection organization, a team from the Nesbitt & Parrinello Democracy & Election Protection Service Line conducted public records research to identify local officials in Virginia in election administration roles who engaged in election denialism, obstruction, or otherwise harbored anti-democratic tendencies. We reviewed news and social media, federal and state campaign finance, and board meeting minutes and votes to identify election denial/voting rights red flags flags for over 300 officials. Our research assisted our client in raising a public alarm over election denialism.
