Nesbitt & Parrinello is pleased to announce that Asher Weinstein has been promoted to Vice President. Since joining the firm in 2020, Asher has led research operations that helped elect Democrats in some of the nation’s most challenging races and exposed threats to public education across multiple states. He recently contributed to the firm’s Modular Candidate Research System, which provides flexible, customizable research solutions for campaigns.

Asher’s work has been instrumental in delivering wins for progressives nationwide, including helping flip California’s 45th District, defeating election deniers in competitive House races, elect the first woman Mayor of Los Angeles, and directing research operations that powered breakthrough Democratic victories in Virginia and Georgia.

Beyond electoral campaigns, Asher led a first-of-its-kind series of reports exposing school board members in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio who prioritize book bans and anti-LGBTQ+ policies over students’ needs.

Asher holds a Master of Public Policy degree and a BA in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University. He is committed to electing pro-labor Democrats and advancing social welfare policy for working families.
