Allen Nesbitt is the founder and CEO of Nesbitt & Parrinello, Inc. Allen helps labor campaigns, climate causes, their allies, and senior government officials globally prepare for risks and win campaigns in volatile environments. In 16 years as a strategic advisor, Allen's teams have won multi-billion dollar fights, from better health care that is more affordable to fights to save our planet. Our wins include: the only Indian American in the 113th Congress; the first openly gay U.S. Representative from New York; the first openly gay mayor of Lexington, Kentucky; the first Black U.S. Representative from Nevada; and the first Black U.S. Senate nominee from Florida.

Cristina Parrinello
Partner and President (she/her)
Cristina Parrinello is the President of Nesbitt & Parrinello, Inc., where she advises political campaigns and corporate leaders on strategic research, public policy, and cybersecurity. In 2018, Cristina's campaign work included serving as a lead consultant to John Chiang for Governor (CA), EMILY's List, and the winning campaign for Gil Cisneros for Congress (CA-39) -- the most expensive House race in the country. She began her political career in 2010 working on former U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer's re-election campaign. Cristina has advised Am Law 50 law firms and Fortune Global 500 companies. Prior to her political work, Cristina worked at the LBJ Presidential Library and as a litigation paralegal. Born and raised on U.S. military bases overseas, Cristina grew up on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands and is now living in Nashville with her two sons.

Helping Clients Assess The Major Financiers And Actors In The Anti-Abortion Movement
In 2022, Nesbitt & Parrinello worked with philanthropic partners to produce a landscape analysis of the Michigan anti-abortion movement, detailing the movement's financiers, key personnel, and overall strategy. N&P's inventive use of grantmaking, campaign finance, and personnel data painted a compelling picture of the anti-abortion movement's strategies, as well as the tens of millions of dollars flowing in and out of the movement. Additionally, our research revealed substantial ties between the movement and extremist groups in Michigan, like the militia members who conspired to kidnap Gov. Whitmer. Using N&P's research, pro-choice strategists will be able to effectively target the more mainstream elements that may be inadvertently supporting the anti-abortion movement, with the ultimate goal of starving the anti-abortion right of its mainstream legitimacy.
Climate Action for LCV in a Federal Campaign
Nesbitt Research powered wins for the League of Conservation Voters in a dozen campaigns and a major issue action project on climate change. Our strategic research focused on telling the powerful story of today's climate deniers who honed their skills in the tobacco battles two decades ago. In their “Web of Denial” campaign, LCV used our research to drive the successful message of the link between the tobacco and climate science deniers. The campaign included live Twitter campaigns, Medium and other social media pieces to generate massive buzz for the client. It all started with powerful research.
Climate War Room Design, Research Team Planning & Rapid Response
In 2018, Nesbitt & Parrinello was engaged by a leading climate activist to design a research operating model and rapid response war room for a potential presidential campaign. During the one year, $40 million dollar testing the waters phase, we designed the 30-person research team staffing model; compiled an 800,000 word analysis of the subject's vulnerabilities; and architected the operating model and physical space for the campaign rapid response war room. We think our candidate was perhaps the most well prepared candidate for national office who declined to run.
The Trusted Partner on Complex Engagements
In 2018, Nesbitt & Parrinello was the trusted provider for a national super PAC on a multi-million dollar effort to elect criminal justice reform advocates in North Carolina. Our engagement supported three progressive attorneys running in North Carolina. In one example, we provided research in support of a woman of color with 18 years of experience in criminal and family law. Our research gave the team insight into the candidate's work for a state housing department, a department that was forced to reimburse the government $24 million for wrongfully spent funds. We prepared the team for negative communications related to a North Carolina State Auditor finding that “significant deficiencies” existed within the candidate's department. With the support we bring to every engagement, the candidate went on to win this race and is now a leading voice for progressive bail reform and alternative sentencing in North Carolina.
