In 2024, Nesbitt & Parrinello partnered with a leading national civil liberties organization to support their communications program for state legislative candidates in Kansas and Georgia. Our comprehensive research and strategic consultation focused on battleground districts where reproductive freedom and civil liberties were central campaign issues.
Our work included producing targeted opposition research books, conducting real-time fact-checking of mail and digital communications, and providing ongoing strategic consultation throughout the campaign cycle. The research identified key vulnerabilities in opponents’ records while highlighting the civil liberties credentials of supported candidates.
The program achieved significant success, electing several pro-civil liberties candidates in competitive districts across both states. Our rapid-response fact-checking helped campaigns disseminate accurate information on schedule, while our research books provided crucial ammunition for communications strategies that resonated with voters concerned about protecting fundamental rights.
