Flipping a Kansas Congressional Seat from Red to Blue for Female Candidate

In 2018, Nesbitt & Parrinello performed research in support of a female congressional candidate in Kansas.

Our research found that numerous challengers in the race painted themselves as “moderate” Democrats and did not take firm stances on key issues such as healthcare and marijuana legalization. We also thoroughly vetted the podcast of one of the challengers, and found that they spoke about their relationships with people in INS, criticized Parkland students for their protest methods, and said there was “no nuance” in the #MeToo movement.

Not only did the Nesbitt & Parrinello-backed candidate win the Democratic primary election, but she went on to defeat the Republican incumbent in the general by 30,000 votes.
