Making History With the First Openly Gay Mayor In Kentucky

In 2010, one of Kentucky’s leading business people sought out Nesbitt & Parrinello for a history-making run for Mayor of Lexington. We examined the entirety of our client and an opponent’s considerable records including extensive Lexington court records involving our client’s business. Our investigation detailed extensive corruption in the City of Lexington government under the incumbent administration including profligate spending, abnormal expense accounts, and corruption at a local government agency. What’s more, our examination described additional excess, corruption, and graft at two major outside agencies of which Lexington was a member.

Armed with substantial evidence of corruption and poor performance, our client constructed a devastating comparison with the incumbent and went on to become the first openly gay mayor in Kentucky.
