Winning a Complex California Gubernatorial

In 2009, a large labor union engaged Nesbitt & Parrinello to conduct a thorough investigation of a major candidate for governor in California. This research took us to Oakland, San Francisco and Sacramento. We conducted a detailed examination of the City of Oakland’s budget, revenues, the mayor’s office and travel records. We reviewed California records at the state archives going back more than 40 years. Our research led to an endorsement and was the basis for a multimillion dollar media campaign.
