In 2008, we were engaged by a labor union to conduct research and fact checking in the Maine U.S. Senate campaign where we conducted in-person research in Washington and Penobscot counties. Our federal research concerned pay, perks, earmarks, pay-to-play relationships, campaign finance and contracts for contributors and legislative key votes.
